Dagenham will try to get three points at Notts County before meeting Shrewsbury on the final day.

Striking problems for hosts while visitors set to opt for same team

Dagenham will be desperate to get maximum points at Notts County before they meet playoff rivals Shrewsbury on the final day of the season. The Daggers currently occupy the final playoff spot after their magnificent 3-1 home win over leaders Brentford on Tuesday. Shrewsbury are close behind with the two sides separated by goal difference and the race for the final top seven spot is likely to go down to the wire. Notts County meanwhile have had a disappointing season as they sit in 18th place having lost their last four games.

Notts County team news

Notts County have only got two fit strikers for the game with Jamie Forrester struggling with sickness while Sean Canham is likely to be ruled out of the last two games of the season with a back injury. With Jonathan Forte having returned to Scunthorpe after his loan spell expired, it leaves only leading scorer Delroy Facey and youngster Ben Fairclough available. Stephen Hunt could also miss the game through illness while fellow defender Michael Johnson is set to make his final home appearance for the club. The veteran will retire at the end of the season and County conclude their campaign at Wycombe next weekend.
Dagenham team news
Dagenham manager John Still is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up from the side that beat leaders Brentford so impressively in midweek. Goalkeeper David Button, on loan from Tottenham, will continue to stand in for Tony Roberts, who is sidelined due to a rib injury. Ben Strevens and Paul Benson will resume their 34-goal partnership up front, while Glen Southam and Graeme Montgomery will be among those hoping to feature after staying on the substitutes' bench against Brentford.
