Fabian Delph is back in contention for Leeds, while Northampton captain Chris Doig is set to miss out.
Promising youngster set to return for Leeds
Leeds teenager Fabian Delph is back in contention for the final game of the season against Northampton.
Delph, young player and players' player of the year at Elland Road, has missed the last two games through suspension, but is expected to return to the starting line-up.
Robert Snodgrass is also expected to return to play some part after missing last week's win at Hartlepool to rest a troublesome ankle.
Manager Simon Grayson, who has no other new injury or suspension problems as his side prepare for the play-offs, is unlikely to make too many changes.
Strikers Mike Grella and Liam Dickinson, on loan from Derby, will be hoping to play a bigger part in the last match, but Grayson is expected to stick with leading goalscorer Jermaine Beckford and Luciano Becchio in pursuit of a fourth-placed finish.
Cobblers news
Northampton manager Stuart Gray will be without a host of first-team regulars for the daunting trip to Elland Road - which could end in relegation to League Two.
The Cobblers failed to pick up the point they needed to secure survival at home to the MK Dons on Tuesday night and that 1-0 defeat means that they need a draw against the Whites to be certain of survival.
Captain Chris Doig is set to miss out with a groin injury so Liam Dolman will continue in the back four while midfielder Ryan Gilligan is also set to miss out after picking up a knee injury against the Dons.
Paul Rodgers (knee) and Giles Coke (calf) are also sidelined while top scorer Adebayo Akinfenwa is still not 100 per cent fit as he battles against a niggling hamstring problem.
Fellow striker Aleksandar Prijovic is also a doubt with a calf complaint.
