Paul Gallagher is waiting to discover where his future lies following the end of his loan spell with Plymouth.

On-loan striker unsure of future

Paul Gallagher is waiting to discover whether he has a future at Blackburn following the end of his loan spell with Plymouth. The striker has enjoyed an excellent campaign with the Pilgrims and he has previously hinted that he would like to stay at Home Park. Rovers have yet to reveal their plans for Gallagher and he admits he remains in the dark as to what might happen. Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock is set to hold talks with Blackburn counterpart Sam Allardyce regarding the 24-year-old and fellow loanee Alan Judge. It is understood that Sturrock hopes to bring them back to the Championship club next season - either on loan or permanently. "I spoke to Paul Sturrock on Saturday and he told me he was going to have a chat with the board and see what they could do," Gallagher told This is Lancashire. "I will keep my options open over the summer. I will sit down with my agent, have a chat and see what comes along. "I'm sure the manager (Allardyce) has made up his mind already what he wants to do with his team next season. If I have to move on, I have to move on."

Delighted

Gallagher is happy with the contribution he has made this season but feels he could have done even better. "I get paid to score goals and I have hit 13, which is double figures, so I'm absolutely delighted with that," he said. "I should have had a few more actually, but to get into double figures is a good personal achievement."
