Sky Sports is launching a survey to find out the best player ever to wear a Coventry City shirt - and we would like you to get involved. We are asking fans of each of the 92 English League teams and 12 Scottish Premier League sides to nominate their all-time favourite footballers. Coventry City or Singers FC, until their name was changed in 1898, were founded in 1883, but it was not until the 1930s the club arrived on the map. Manager Harry Storrie had them booming, creating a side which scored 100 goals in four seasons out of five and star striker Clarrie Bourton might well come into your consideration. Bourton topped the Football League goalscoring charts with 49 goals in 1932, followed by 40 the season after and is the club's all-time leading scorer with 182 goals. Much later, but with a record 507 appearances to his name, who could forget goalkeeping great Steve Ogrizovic in a career that spanned 16 years at City? And what about the heroes of 1987? Widely regarded as one of the best FA Cup finals at the old Wembley, Coventry were the victors and two of the goalscorers in the 3-2 success over Spurs, Dave Bennett and Keith Houchen, might be top of your list. Or what about big Cyrille Regis, who played for the Sky Blues between 1984 and 1991 and was also a member of the FA Cup-winning side. You might be a bigger fan of Dion Dublin though, who established himself as one of the Premier League's top strikers in his four-and-half-year spell at Highfield Road. Or maybe the sheer speed of Darren Huckerby, culture of Gary McAllister, the class of record signing Robbie Keane or unpredictability of Peter Ndlovu tickles your fancy. So who gets your vote? To make your selection, please complete the form below and tell us why you are putting your chosen nominee forward. Once we have received all your nominations, we will narrow down the selections for each side to the 10 leading candidates. You can then vote for your personal favourite. After all votes are cast, we will reveal the winners ahead of the 2009/10 season and crown the Sky Blues' greatest-ever player!
