Sky Sports is launching a survey discover the greatest player in the history of Liverpool - and we would like you to get involved. We are asking fans of each of the 92 English League teams and 12 Scottish Premier League sides to nominate their all-time favourite footballers. Where to start with a club which has won 18 league titles and five European Cups? Great players are not in short supply and possibly it is former forward Billy Liddell, noted for his superb ability and gentlemanly conduct, who you hold in the highest regard? The Reds' record league goalscorer and World Cup winner Roger Hunt could also be a contender, while Ian Callaghan has made the highest number of appearances for Britain's most successful side. What about Ray Clemence, Kevin Keegan, and captain Emlyn Hughes, who - along with Callaghan - were a part of the team which brought a first European Cup back to Merseyside in 1977 before going on to lift a host of other accolades? Graeme Souness and all-time leading goalscorer Ian Rush played vital roles in Liverpool's dominance in the early Eighties, while ex-player and manager Kenny Dalglish is a Kop idol and could be your favourite. John Barnes made his name with a number of eye-catching goals during his days in red. Does the ex-winger deserve recognition? Or does Robbie 'God' Fowler receive the nod following his connection with the Anfield faithful? But possibly it is players from the current generation who you believe are the greatest servants of Liverpool? Should Jamie Carragher and star skipper Steven Gerrard be rewarded for helping the club re-establish themselves as a major force both at home and abroad?
