Sky Sports is launching a survey to find the best player ever to wear a Northampton Town shirt - and we would like you to get involved. We are asking fans of each of the 92 English League teams and 12 Scottish Premier League sides to nominate their all-time favourite footballers. Captain of the 1986/87 championship winning season, Trevor Morley was a real crowd favourite at Sixfields. He eventually went on to play for West Ham, but was he the Cobblers' best-ever player? As the club rose through the divisions, Mike Everitt was making a name for himself, a spell spanning six years brought him over 250 appearances, but was it enough to be your greatest-ever Cobbler? John Gregory made 187 appearances for Northampton before moving to Aston Villa, a club he later managed. The versatile midfielder scored eight goals in his time at Sixfields, is he remembered fondly enough o be the best ever though? Tommy Fowler, who recently passed away, is the club record appearance holder after racking up an impressive 585 appearances in 16 years. Does this loyalty and commitment make him your greatest-ever player? But remember, if you disagree with our choices, or we've missed someone off, then vote for them below! To make your selection please complete the form below and tell us why you are putting your chosen nominee forward. Once we have received all your nominations, we will narrow down the selections for each side to the leading 10 candidates. You can then vote for your personal favourite. After all votes are cast we will reveal the winners ahead of the 2009/10 season and crown Northampton Town's greatest-ever player!
