Spurs keeper still holds Dutch outfit in high regard

Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes hopes to return to former club PSV Eindhoven one day The 28-year-old shot-stopper found life in the Premier League tough to begin with after his big-money move to White Hart Lane last summer and was the subject of some severe mocking on the terraces for numerous high-profile blunders. However, the Brazilian international has laughed off his critics and has remained Spurs' No.1 between the sticks despite the winter addition of the experienced Carlo Cudicini. Gomes - who has been integral to Spurs' rise up the table - insists he is enjoying his football under the stewardship of boss Harry Redknapp, but makes no secret of his desire to return to Eindhoven in the future. He told PSV TV: "It (the Premier League) is a difficult competition. Each player needs to get time to be able to play well. "My relationship with the (PSV) fans was extraordinary. But I don't want to leave Spurs now and it's too much money for PSV at the moment. "Maybe I can start thinking of PSV after three seasons. I absolutely want to return one day, I just don't know when."
