Dunga has selected five Premier League players in his squad for Brazil's forthcoming World Cup qualifiers and the Confederations Cup.
Manchester City forwards Robinho and Elano have been included, along with Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.
Chelsea defender Alex and Manchester United midfielder Anderson are the other British-based players to make the cut.
Ronaldinho of AC Milan has been left out, while Corinthians striker Ronaldo is another high-profile omission.
Dunga said: "The national team always have high-quality players and it is all up to the coach. We look at a number of factors to make a decision."
Brazil face Uruguay in the South American World Cup Qualifying Zone on 6th June before meeting Paraguay four days later.
Dunga's side then fly to South Africa to compete in the Confederations Cup from 14th June.
