Clarets chief believes in players' ability after Wembley win

Burnley manager Owen Coyle is confident his side have the quality to compete in the 'great adventure' of the Premier League. The Clarets booked a return to the top flight for the first time since 1976 as a Wade Elliott wonder goal earned a 1-0 Championship play-off final victory over Sheffield United. And having sampled success at Wembley, Coyle, whose side also reached the latter stages of the FA Cup and Carling Cup in a lengthy season, is looking forward. The Turf Moor boss confesses his squad is short of bodies, but he maintains that they have the ability to compete in England's pinnacle division. Coyle said: "We've got a great adventure to look forward to. "I think you've seen the effort the players gave today, it was great game, end-to-end - and we had chances to put the game to bed. "We don't have quantity but I believe we have quality - I'm obviously delighted with what we've achieved today. "I'm immensely proud and delighted for everyone in the town - but my heart goes out to Sheffield United."
