Striker waiting for chance to meet with manager
St Mirren striker Jim Hamilton is waiting to discover if he will be offered a new contract by manager Gus MacPherson.
Hamilton's current deal expires in the summer and the 33-year-old is keen to stay with the SPL club.
MacPherson is assessing who he wants to keep in his squad for next season and Hamilton hopes he will be in the manager's plans.
"I've not spoken to the gaffer for a couple of days," said Hamilton in the
Daily Record.
"I would love to stay at St Mirren, but I don't know what the manager's thoughts are on the matter, he might want to bring in new players.
"I've got plans to get away for a summer holiday and it would be nice to know before that."
