Hoops midfielder believes club have excellent attraction
Barry Robson believes managerless Celtic have all the ingredients to attract a 'top boss'.
The Hoops' search for Gordon Strachan's replacement has reportedly run dry after Owen Coyle stated his commitment to Burnley.
Robson, though, has offered a ringing endorsement of the Parkhead side, insisting that success is there to be had.
"The last manager came here and proved to everyone that they can do well on a budget," he said. "It's not a small budget.
"The club invest most of the money that they make right back into the playing squad. There's no more money they can get from elsewhere so I think the club do it in the total right way.
Big personality
"(Chief executive) Peter Lawwell's brought the debt right down, the club's run very smoothly now and it's a great football club and any manager, I'm sure, would love to come and manage this football club.
"It will be a big fight to come and manage here, I would imagine. He's going to need to have a big personality and he'll need to be strong, that's for sure.
"It's a huge club and I think it's a big ask to be a manager of a club this size as well. All we need is a top manager to come in and make sure we lift the title again next season."
Strange
He added: "All I know is I put my own CV in and if I don't get it, I'll be disappointed!"
The recent campaign was the first time Strachan had failed to claim the SPL title in his four years in charge, and Robson has admitted he was 'baffled' by his choice to step down.
He added: "It seems quite strange that someone should leave when they just lose one title. It's a bit baffling.
"It's frustrating and disappointing but, as a football club, we just need to move on now."
