Falkirk striker Steve Lovell reveals he would be happy to stay at the club but admits that his future remains uncertain.
The 28-year-old, signed from Aberdeen last summer, finds himself in the same boat as a number of his team-mates with their contracts coming to an end.
As many as seven players who started the Scottish Cup final against Rangers find themselves out of contract this summer and Lovell is hoping his meeting with manager John Hughes on Monday is a positive one.
Hughes is thought to be keen on renewing most of his players' deals after his side made it a season to remember.
Despite losing 1-0 to Rangers on Saturday they also reached the Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final and survived the drop on the final day of the SPL season.
"I am out of contract like a lot of the boys and I'm not sure who is staying and who is going," said Lovell.
Enjoyed every minute
"I will speak to the manager and see what he wants to do. I don't see why I shouldn't stay, I've enjoyed every minute of being here.
"We stayed up on the last day of the season and we got to a cup final and another semi-final, so things couldn't have gone better."
Lovell, who was the Bairns' joint-top scorer with 10 goals this term, insists that whatever happens over the summer the future is bright for Falkirk.
"There are young players coming through," he added.
"Guys like Scott Arfield and Tam Scobbie are brilliant and there are other young players who weren't even playing at Hampden.
"It has always been that way at Falkirk and so the future looks bright."
