Legendary striker handed national reins

Titi Camara has told skysports.com of his delight at being handed the Guinea managerial position. French coach Robert Nouzaret parted company with Guinea after they suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Ivory Coast in a 2010 World Cup qualifier on Sunday. Ex-Liverpool and West Ham striker Camara, who was previously the country's technical director, will now oversee his homeland. He told skysports.com: "It is an honour to manager my country. It is a dream to play for your country but it is the ultimate dream to manage it. "I will do my utmost to make the country proud. I will give everything I have got like I always did when I was playing. There are a lot of talented players in this country."
