Blades midfielder will now be missing for opening four games of next season
Sheffield United midfielder Lee Hendrie has seen his ban increased following his sending-off at the conclusion of the Championship play-off final.
The player will now be missing for the first four games of next season after he admitted a charge of improper conduct at a Regulatory Commission hearing earlier this week.
The Blades lost the Wembley showpiece 1-0 and the charge related to Hendrie's language and behaviour towards referee Mike Dean following his dismissal.
He was fined £3,500 and given an additional one match suspension to the three match ban he will serve as a result of the sending-off.
