Winger returns to parent club after La Liga loan spell

Kanga Akale will return to French side Lens after an unsuccessful loan spell at relegated Primera Division side Recreativo Huelva. The Ivory Coast international spent last season on-loan in Spain and suffered relegation as Recreativo finished bottom of the table. The deal will not become permanent and Akale returns to Lens who have achieved promotion back up to Ligue 1 next season. "I am back in Lens for next season, I have a contract there until 2011, unless the Lens management tell me to leave," he said. "I want to repay them back for their trust when they signed me in 2007. It did not work for me in Spain. "I started very well, but the end of the season was difficult, it was a nightmare season, I will not return there, I have unfinished business with Lens. "I'm looking forward to next year's Ligue 1 season. It is a big season for me if I want to go to the World Cup."
