Spaniard linked with Easter Road switch

New Hibernian boss John Hughes is ready to raid old club Falkirk to sign goalkeeper Dani Mallo. Hughes has made a new keeper one of his top priorities with Yves Ma-Kalambay the only custodian on the books at Easter Road. Mallo's future at Falkirk is uncertain as his contract is due to expire and no new deal has been agreed. Hughes, who brought Mallo to Falkirk, is ready to move for the Spaniard again. "We've only got Ma-Kalambay so I need to address that," Hughes told the Daily Record. "There are several options and Dani Mallo is one I would have no hesitation in bringing to the club. "But I'm not going to dive in. I'm looking about to see what else there is and I'll try and bring in a guy I think I can challenge the big fella for the jersey."
