Rochdale have snapped up young goalkeeper Matthew Edwards on a free transfer following his release by Leeds.
The 18-year-old had been on the lookout for a new club this summer after being told his Whites deal would not be renewed.
Edwards, who will officially join the club on 1st July, is looking forward to breaking into Keith Hill's first team.
The teenager told the club's
official website: "I'm looking forward to it.
"I have met with a few faces around the ground and it has a good vibe about it.
"I already knew (coach) Ian Wilcox from the goalkeeping coaching at Leeds and it was he who introduced me to the club."
