Jose wants to keep striker in Serie A

Inter coach Jose Mourinho says unsettled striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic should stay at the San Siro. The Sweden international has made no secret of his desire to leave the club and has hinted at a move to Spain. Linked on numerous occasions with La Liga champions Barcelona, the 27-year-old claims he has achieved all he can with the Serie A giants. Mourinho, though, believes there is no truth in the matter and that Ibrahimovic has no reason to feel unsettled. "We haven't heard from each other. It's a personal conviction," he told Telelombardia. "It seems to me that he has had a great season and has no reason to be unhappy with us."

Price tag

Inter president Massimo Moratti recently stated that any club interested in signing the highly-rated striker would have to cough up a minimum €90million. Mourinho, though, expects a lively transfer market to calm down after an initial flurry of activity. "After Real Madrid's huge transfer deals, I do not believe that there will be a crazy market," he said. "No one will meet Ibra's true value on the market, no one will pay the same figure for Cristiano Ronaldo. But in football you never know. "At the moment, if you want to make two teams with Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka and all the other champions it doesn't seem possible to me that you can do much more."
Desire
Ibrahimovic's desire to win the UEFA Champions League has been widely touted as the main reason for his desire to leave Inter. Admitting similar ambition, Mourinho added: "I too want to win the Champions League, but four teams fight for the Scudetto, two for La Liga and three for the Premier League while in the Champions League 12 teams fight for it, and for this reason, it's not easy." Asked about a mooted move for Chelsea duo Deco and Carvalho, he said: "They are Chelsea players and I do not like speaking about another team's players. "They played under me and it would be a pleasure to have them again."
