Midfielder Mark Wright has made the switch from MK Dons to Brighton on a free transfer.
Winger leaves MK Dons on a free
Mark Wright has joined Brighton on a free transfer from MK Dons, becoming Russell Slade's first permanent signing for the Seagulls.
The 27-year-old winger completed a medical at Brighton's training ground on Friday before signing a two-year contract with the club.
Slade believes that Wright, who scored 20 goals in his 78 appearances for the MK Dons, will add a new dimension to the team.
"He is a genuine right-winger and will give us creativity and plenty of pace," he told the club's official website.
"Those are some of the things I wanted to address for the new season.
"He also has a good eye for goal, and we will be looking for him to add to his tally with us.
"He's a player that has improved over time, and I think there is still a lot more to come from him."
Wright began his career with Walsall nine years ago, before moving to Walsall and subsequently MK Dons.
Brighton boss Slade is expecting him to be the first of many new signings this summer.
"We're very close to landing one or two other targets that we have been tracking for a good while now, and I expect it to be a busy few weeks," he added.
