Barnsley turn down improved offer for Brazilian
Barnsley have rejected a fresh offer from Bristol City for midfielder Anderson De Silva.
Simon Davey announced last week that he had turned down a bid from the Robins and given them a figure he would not go below.
Bristol City have now retuned with an improved offer but Davey is standing firm on his valuation for the Brazilian.
The Tykes manager is prepared for further approaches but hopes to keep hold of one of his most important players.
"Every player has a price, so we'll have to see what happens," Davey told the
Sheffield Star.
"I don't want to lose him, Anderson is an integral part of our team.
"Bristol City came in with a bid and we rejected it and then they came in with an improved offer, but that bid was not accepted either."
