Two English sides are tracking Deportivo Quito defender Isaac Mina, according to club president Santiago Ribadeneira.
Ribadeneira has claimed talks between Deportivo Quito and the two unnamed teams are ongoing and that a transfer is in the offing.
The 28-year-old Mina can play in the centre of defence or at left-back, and his recent form has seen him linked with a move away from his homeland.
Ribadeneira said: "Mina is in the mind of two English teams but I can't say the names of the teams for not interfering with negotiations, and arranging a transfer that will give profit to all the parties involved.
"The conversations are going in the right way and besides that I can't say how much we have advanced. I can say that we have been negotiating since a few days ago and that it's only a little more time before everything is finalised."
