New AC boss has to succeed this season
AC Milan general manager Adriano Galliani insists new head coach Leonardo has to succeed domestically and in Europe next season.
The 39-year-old Brazilian is the new man at the helm of the Italian giants following Carlo Ancelotti's summer switch to Chelsea.
Despite Leonardo's lack of experience and the departure of star player Kaka, Galliani insists the team can still impress this season.
Galliani wants Milan to finish inside the top three in Serie A in the coming season along with having a good UEFA Champions League run.
Objectives
When asked what the club's objectives this coming season are, he replied: "To be in the top three in the Italian league and to go as far as possible in the Champions League.
"Milan can and absolutely must achieve these aims with this group of players and this coach."
Meanwhile, he rejected talk the prestigious club could be for sale: "Milan are not for sale."
