Striker set for permanent return after leaving Shrewsbury
Accrington Stanley are hoping to complete a deal for former Shrewsbury Town striker Michael Symes.
The 25-year-old finished last season on loan at Stanley and scored once in seven League Two appearances.
He has since been released by Shrewsbury and Stanley boss John Coleman is aiming to snap Symes up on a free transfer.
"We're hoping to sign Michael by the end of the week," said Coleman in the
Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
"He's a good player who did well for us, and he knows the lads and the club."
