Exeter City have snapped up former Bristol City midfielder Joe Burnell on a free transfer.
Burnell had been available since leaving non-league side Oxford United earlier this year and has now secured a move to League One outfit Exeter.
He joined Oxford last summer following a two-year spell at Northampton Town and has also played for Wycombe Wanderers.
Meanwhile, the Grecians took a look at nine trialists in Thursday night's pre-season friendly against Weston-super-Mare, which finished 2-2.
Chris Allen, Matt Armstrong-Ford, Richard Duffy, James Dunne, Aaron Griffiths, Tom Harvey, Jack Jeffery, Alex Melbourne and James Norwood are all currently training with Paul Tisdale's side.
