Former Wolves winger signs at stadium:mk following trial period

Milton Keynes Dons have completed the signing of former Wolves winger Lewis Gobern following a successful trial period. Gobern has penned a one-year deal with an option for a further 12 months and becomes the Dons' fourth signing in six days following the return of Jemal Johnson and the arrival of Jermaine Easter and Stuart Searle. The 24-year-old has been without a club since he was released by Wolves, where he made just six league starts, at the end of last season. He told Dons World: "When I heard that Paul Ince was taking charge and I learned of the chairman's ambition, I knew I would be joining a club that would be pushing for promotion. "I've had a few little injuries here and there but I want to push my career on and I feel like this is the place to make that happen. "I hope to bring some excitement, a bit of creativity and a few goals, but the main thing is for me to help this club get promoted. "There's a lot of ambition here, it's a club built for the Championship at the very least and with the manager we've got and the players he wants to bring here I think that's achievable."
