Bairns boss hoping striker recovers in time
Falkirk manager Eddie May is hopeful striker Mark Stewart will be fit to play in Thursday's Europa League qualifier against Vaduz.
The 21-year-old marksman missed Falkirk's first leg second qualifying round win over Vaduz with a groin injury similar to the one that restricted his availability last season.
While Stewart is touch and go to feature in the return leg in Liechtenstein, May is crossing his fingers the striker will pass a late fitness test enabling him to play.
Hopeful
"Mark had a wee knock prior to the Vaduz game so we decided not to play him but hopefully he won't be too far away from the game over there," said May.
"He has a groin problem - it's similar to what he had last season.
"We have to make sure he gets the right treatment so he can come back for longer next time."
