Former Pompey defender given chance to shine
Noe Pamarot has linked up with Nantes for a trial following his departure from Portsmouth.
The defender was under contract at Fratton Park until the end of last season but he was not then offered a new deal.
He has been linked with a move back to France for much of the summer, with Monaco and St Etienne reportedly interested.
Nantes, relegated from Ligue 1, have now given the 30-year-old the opportunity to show what he can do.
Pamarot hopes to impress in training, telling
skysports.com: "It is true I am here for ten days.
"I hope to earn a contract and play at a great club like Nantes."
