Brazilian could be tempted away from Serie A champs
Inter Milan defender Maicon has refused to commit his future to the Serie A champions.
The Brazil international has been strongly linked with a summer exit from Giuseppe Meazza, with free-spending Real Madrid believed to be keen.
The Primera Liga giants baulked at Inter's £20million asking price earlier in the transfer window, but may yet reignite their interest.
Maicon insists he is not actively seeking a move elsewhere, but admits anything could happen in the coming weeks.
"I am happy to remain at Inter, I have a contract here and I need to work," the buccaneering full-back told
Italia 1.
"We do not know what the future holds, though. We'll have to wait and see."
Arrivals
Inter are set to part with Zlatan Ibrahimovic imminently, with the Swedish striker closing in on a move to Barcelona.
Maicon, though, is unfazed by the deal, believing Samuel Eto'o, who is heading to Inter in part-exchange, is more than capable of filling the attacking void.
"Eto'o is a great player and we will do well," he added.
"If other new faces arrive to build a strong squad, then we will be happy."
