Eredivisie champions AZ Alkmaar secured the Dutch Supercup with a 5-1 win over Heerenveen
AZ broke the deadlock after 15 minutes with Brett Holman finding the net and Mounir El Hamdaoui doubled the advantage ten minutes later.
Maarten Martens put AZ in firm control with a third on 28 minutes, before Michal Papadopulos gave Heerenveen hope by pulling a goal back five minutes into the second half.
Jeremain Lens then grabbed a brace to put the game beyond Heerenveen and give AZ the perfect boost ahead of the new season.
