Blues boss will continue to scour transfer market
Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish has revealed that he is still hoping to land 'one or two' more fresh faces.
The Blues boss has been busy in the summer transfer window, adding eight new recruits to his ranks.
He does, however, believe that there are areas which still need strengthening ahead what promises to be an arduous Premier League campaign.
A dynamic midfielder and an extra option down the left remain the priorities, with McLeish hoping he can rely on continued backing from his board.
"Don't get me wrong, I think the board have done really well in allowing us to get the players who have come in and spending money," the Scot said in the
Birmingham Mail.
"Of course, I am like any other manager in that I will take more players if I can get them.
"I still think that we're a little bit weak in one or two positions and a bit vulnerable in one or two positions for the Premier League.
"But, at the same time, I know that we can't have too many bodies and some players won't be too happy playing a bit part or being rotated. I understand that side also."
