Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the capture of Argentine striker Lucas Ramon Barrios.
The 24-year-old has arrived in a deal worth £4million from Chilean club Colo Colo.
Barrios had an outstanding record in Chile last term, bagging 37 goals in 38 games and he arrives as a replacement for Alexander Frei - who joined Basel last week.
Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp welcomed Barrios' arrival.
"We have considered the player for quite a long time and we were getting in touch with him real early on, though it is no hasty reaction following the departure of Alexander Frei," he said.
"We will possess a fresh option up front through him and we are definitely well prepared now.
"Lucas is a striker with a nose for goals, he works hard and will help us."
