Trialist arrives at the Prostar Stadium
Skysports.com understands that New Zealand international Kris Bright has joined Shrewsbury on trial.
The 22-year-old spent last week training with Norwich, but failed to land a contract with the Canaries.
He is now hoping for better luck at the Prostar Stadium as he looks to find a new club ahead of the 2009/10 campaign.
Bright is currently available as a free agent following his release by Greek outfit Panserraikos.
The midfielder began his career in his homeland, with Waitakere City and the New Zealand Knights, but secured a switch to Europe with Dutch outfit Fortuna Sittard in 2006.
A move to Norway, and Kristiansund, followed in 2007, before he moved to Greece on a short-term deal in January 2009.
