Colo Colo officials have revealed that an unnamed English club have expressed an interest in Gonzalo Jara. Representatives from the team in question are reportedly due in Chile to discuss a deal over the next few days. Centre-half Jara is said to have been attracting interest from the side for over a year, with scouts now deployed to watch the 23-year-old in action. "I have been infirmed about the prospect of Gonzalo Jara leaving Colo Colo," said coach Hugo Tocalli. "If this happens, I expect it will be done soon. It will not take many days. "If there is going to be a transfer to an English team I would like everything to be resolved by next weekend." A spokesman for Colo Colo added: "We have been told that officials from an English team will be in Chile this week to watch Gonzalo Jara. "They are also keen to have a meeting with the player and his representatives." Colo Colo are said to be willing to do business for around £1.8million.
