Arjen Robben insists he wants to stay at Real Madrid this season.
The Dutchman has been strongly linked with a move away from El Santiago Bernabeu following the arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka this summer.
A return to England has been mooted for Robben with Tottenham credited with an interest in the former Chelsea star.
However, Robben, who came off the bench to score in Saturday's friendly victory over Toronto, is ready to fight for his place in Manuel Pelegrini's plans.
"My intention is to stay here [at Madrid]," said Robben.
"I believe that I can help this team a lot. I have a lot of confidence for the coming season.
"We [Robben and Pelegrini] have spoken, although not too much.
"But for me, the most important thing is to prove my worth in training and matches."
