Keane to learn whether midfielder faces lengthy lay-off
Ipswich boss Roy Keane faces an anxious wait to learn if David Norris will miss the rest of the year with a knee injury.
Town midfielder Norris could be sidelined for a prolonged spell with an injury sustained against Coventry City at the weekend.
The 28-year-old limped out of Sunday's 2-1 defeat and scans have revealed potential ligament damage which may require surgery.
Norris will see a specialist later this week, and if he is forced to go under the knife he could be sidelined for up to five months.
"It will be a big loss," Keane told the
East Anglian Daily Times.
"He is a battler and he breaks up the play well and gets things going from there."
