Ali Douglas is the new face of the SPL on Sky Sports. Ali will make her debut on Saturday 15 August presenting live, high definition coverage of Aberdeen vs Celtic from Pittodrie. Coverage begins at 12.30pm (kick-off 12.45pm) on Sky Sports 3 and HD 3. Commentary from Aberdeen will be from Ian Crocker and Andy Walker. This season, Sky Sports will screen 30 live games from Clydesdale Bank Premier League - including all Old Firm games - under a new five-year deal. Ali joins Sky Sports with a background in football broadcasting including: Rangers TV, Arsenal TV, Middlesbrough TV and most recently, Setanta Sports. Her rounded experience as a journalist includes a solid flair for writing which has included columns for a variety of newspapers including The Scottish Evening Times, The Daily Record and The Sunday Post. Commenting on her new role, she said: "The prospect of presenting weekly live football from the SPL including all the Old Firm games is incredibly exciting.
