Tangerines ace ready to hit the ground running
Dundee United's fit-again midfielder Scott Robertson is relishing hitting the ground running after missing much of last season through injury.
Groin surgery meant the 24-year-old missed nearly the entire second half of last season, although he did return to action against Aberdeen in May.
Robertson enjoyed what action came his way last time around and believes that has only enhanced his appetite to succeed this season.
Looking forward
"I'm looking forward to the season. The last one was my first in the SPL so 12 months ago I had all the excitement of that and everything that goes with it," explained Robertson.
"But this time round I would say it's even more intense because I've had a taste of it to whet my appetite and want more. I've not played at all in 2009 so that's made me even more keen to get going again.
"All the summer work I've been doing over the past few weeks has been with a view to building up to the Hearts game so I'm delighted it's edging ever closer now."
