Ligue 1 outfit Monaco have agreed to sell Croatian midfielder Nikola Pokrivac to Red Bull Salzburg.
The 23-year-old only moved to France in January 2008, but has opted to move on after less than two years at Stade Louis II.
He is now looking forward to a fresh start in Austria, with Red Bull reported to have shelled out around €2million (£1.7m) for his services.
"I feel relieved to have signed for Red Bull," Pokrivac told
Jutarnji List.
"The contract will be for three years, and then we can extend it for a further year. I am very happy. My wage will be better than in Monaco.
"I am back in Monte Carlo at the moment, to pack my things, but on Wednesday I will be in Salzburg. I hope I can play my first game at the weekend."
