Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen insists there is no secret behind his remarkable record of saving penalties.
The popular shot-stopper made a name for himself last season when he helped the Clarets to a shoot-out win over Chelsea in the Carling Cup as Owen Coyle's men eventually progressed to the semi-finals.
The giant Dane has already saved from the spot this term when he kept out Michael Carrick's effort in the 1-0 triumph over Manchester United while Everton's Louis Saha could not even manage to get his kick on target last Sunday.
The former West Brom keeper admits that he enjoys the challenge of facing penalties but confesses that his success is just down to instinct.
"I think the stats state I have not lost a penalty shoot-out," he said.
"There is no real key to saving penalties, no research as such, just instinct, that's all. Maybe players look at my size and frame and thing 'how do I get it past that big lump'.
"Beating Chelsea in the shoot-out was nice and gave us confidence. But it was a one-off and we have to look forward."
Opportunity
After seven hard years at Turf Moor, Jensen is finally enjoying the chance to perform in the top flight and he has no intention of letting the opportunity pass him by.
"I think hard work pays off in the end. That is my story. Maybe some Premier League players have had it too easy," he added.
"It has taken me a long time to get to this level but finally I am here and I want to make the most of it.
"We all know we have to keep our feet on the ground because things can go either way. We must keep our standards high."
Jensen and Burnley return to Chelsea this weekend and the 34-year-old can see no reason why the Clarets cannot upset the odds.
"They are playing probably the best football of any team at the moment but if we play like we did last year we have a chance," he highlighted.
"We are the underdogs again and this is the Premier League not the Carling Cup but our ambition remains the same."
