Hanson and Brandon secure points for Bradford

Bradford made it two wins in the space of seven days with a 2-0 victory over Torquay at Valley Parade. Goals by James Hanson and Chris Brandon allowed the Bantams to follow a thrilling success over Cheltenham with another three points. Hanson opened the scoring on the brink of half-time as he applied a glancing header to James O'Brien's free-kick. Torquay, promoted from non-league last season, struggled to make an impact and Tim Sills wasted their best chance. Brandon, who had entered the game as a 68th minute substitute, then secured the points for Stuart McCall's Bradford when blasting in on the stroke of full-time.
