You have voted in your thousands for the best player to wear a Tottenham Hotspur shirt and the winner is .... Glenn Hoddle.
We asked fans of each of the 92 English League teams and Scottish Premier League sides to nominate their all-time favourite footballers and Hoddle topped the poll.
Goalscoring great Jimmy Greaves came in second while the mercurial Paul Gascoigne was third in the voting.
Glenn Hoddle
London-born Hoddle came through the ranks at White Hart Lane in the 1970s and it was clear from a young age that he was a special talent destined for greatness.
He made his first-team debut as a 17-year-old in the cup, while his opening First Division game will be remembered for an excellent goal past England and Stoke goalkeeper Peter Shilton.
Hoddle could not prevent Spurs from being relegated the following season but he began to carve his name into club folklore by inspiring them to an immediate return to the top flight.
He was named PFA Young Player of the Year in 1979/80 at around the time he started an England career that spanned nine years and included 53 appearances.
By the early 1980s Hoddle had well and truly established himself as one of the finest attacking midfielders in the business, capable of sublime pieces of skill but also ruthlessly effective in front of goal.
He had the ability to pick out a killer pass and was instrumental in Tottenham's FA Cup success of 1981, while he scored in the final a year later as the club successfully defended their trophy.
Hoddle then helped Spurs win the Uefa Cup in 1984 and continued to produce sparkling performances on a regular basis over the next three years.
His Tottenham career came to an end in 1987 when a young French tactician named Arsene Wenger with a good eye for talent took him to Monaco.
Jimmy Greaves
Greaves was already regarded as a fearsome striker by the time he came to Spurs in 1961 but his record over the next decade was still nothing short of staggering.
The England legend netted an incredible 266 goals in 379 appearances for the club and topped the First Division scoring charts on six occasions.
Greaves scored key goals as Tottenham won the FA Cup in 1962 and again in 1967, while he also helped the club win the Uefa Cup in 1963.
Paul Gascoigne
'Gazza' had a career that could be described as 'up and down' but he made a huge impression on Spurs supporters during a four-year spell between 1988 and 1992.
His entertaining style of football was almost without parallel and he produced numerous moments of magic to keep Spurs flying high.
