Huddersfield have virtually a fully-fit squad, but Alan Bennett and Ryan Dickson are expected to miss out again for Brentford.

Third-placed Terriers go for third league win on the bounce

High-flying Huddersfield entertain Brentford looking for their third league win on the bounce. Terriers manager Lee Clark has virtually a fully-fit squad to choose from, with versatile midfielder Tom Clarke the only unavailable first-team squad member as he recovers from a knee injury. Clark has several selection dilemmas as his side bid to secure their fifth league win of the season to keep pace with the leading pair at the top of the table. Winger Gary Roberts put in a fine performance when he replaced Michael Collins in the second half of last week's 4-3 win at MK Dons, while strikers Lee Novak and Robbie Simpson both scored for the reserves in midweek and defender Robbie Williams and winger Lionel Ainsworth were also impressive. Teenager Jordan Rhodes and Theo Robinson are expected to resume up front after sharing 14 goals between them this season.

Bees news

Alan Bennett and Ryan Dickson are expected to miss out again when Brentford travel to Huddersfield. Bees skipper Bennett has yet to fully recover from a groin injury and fellow defender Dickson is still struggling with a knee problem. Mark Phillips shook off an ankle injury to play at Charlton last weekend and should partner James Wilson in central defence again, while Sam Wood continues to deputise for Dickson at left-back. Striker Charlie MacDonald made a welcome return as a substitute at The Valley following almost six months on the sidelines with a shoulder injury and also played for the reserves in midweek. MacDonald could now be pushing for a start in attack, which could see Myles Weston revert to the wing. Fellow forward Ben Strevens is still recovering from a broken leg.
