Both teams looking for a win after respective 1-0 defeats
Derby County defender Dean Moxey should be fit to face Barnsley on Tuesday night after injuring his hip in the game against Sheffield United.
The Rams left-back took a knock late on during the 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Blades, but trained on Monday and looks to have recovered in time for the Tykes clash.
There are no new injury worries for Nigel Clough, although the Derby manager continues to be without injured trio Steven Davies, Giles Barnes and Chris Porter.
It remains to be seen whether Clough gives debuts to midfielder Lee Hendrie and striker Paul Dickov, who both missed out on the chance to play at the weekend.
Derby currently lie 15th in the Championship, with seven points from six matches, and will be looking to bounce back after their last game against the lowly Tykes.
With only one point to their name so far, Barnsley will be desperate to pick up their first win of the campaign in Mark Robins' second game in charge.
However, the South Yorkshire side will be without striker Daniel Bogdanovic and goalkeeper Luke Steele, with summer signing David Preece set to make his second appearance between the sticks.
Meanwhile, Jamaican winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce will also be on the sidelines after suffering a freak eye injury in the 1-0 reverse at Watford.
Campbell-Ryce was struck in the face with the ball and is expected to be out for between ten and 14 days.
