Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo has called into question Laryea Kingston's Tynecastle future.
Midfielder's attitude brings into doubt his Tynecastle career
Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo has called into question Laryea Kingston's Tynecastle future having grown exasperated by the midfielder's attitude.
While the 28-year-old has played for Ghana in recent internationals against Sudan and Japan, he is yet to make an appearance domestically this season.
Laszlo has said he will not consider Kingston for Tuesday's game with Kilmarnock and has asked his board to assess the situation.
Having grown increasingly frustrated by what he perceives to be a lack of commitment on the player's part, it would appear a parting of ways could be pending.
"He is not in the squad for the game," Laszlo told the
Daily Record.
"Larry Kingston did not play many games for us last season.
Uncertain future
"We played a lot of games without him and we will play the next games without him.
"I concentrate on winning games, not on this. There will be a time to discuss the situation with club officials and then finish it. I told them my opinion about this and it is now over my head.
"I said I need people who give everything for their profession and for their club.
"I'm happy if someone plays for his country but not happy to hear the club is not important. We pay the wages and if you play well for your club, you can always go to the national team."
Asked if Kingston would ever play for the club again, Laszlo said: "This depends on many things but this is not a question for me now."
