Former Celtic defender Bobo Balde has failed to secure a move to French side Valenciennes.
The 33-year-old free agent spent several days training with the Ligue 1 outfit, but France Football revealed both parties failed to reach a financial agreement.
Balde, who made over a 150 appearance during his nine seasons with the Hoops attracted the interest of Premier League outfit Birmingham City during the January transfer window last season.
But the French cente-back continues to train at his Marseile home as he bids to earn a new contract.
