Inter boss criticised by veteran Czech
Former Lazio and Roma boss Zdenek Zeman has criticised Jose Mourinho's coaching abilities, but praised other aspects of his management technique.
Mourinho is regarded as one of the best managers in the business after enjoying great success with Porto and Chelsea.
He also guided Inter to the Serie A title in his first season with the club and Zeman has a lot of respect for the way he looks after his players and deals with the media.
However, Zeman is less impressed with Mourinho technically as a coach and has accused his teams of playing a dull brand of football.
"Mourinho is a great communicator who hides well his own mediocrity as a coach," said Zeman.
"I believe Mourinho is at Inter because he's an excellent man-manager, and even better at managing the press.
"For sure the Inter fans will never see attractive football. Having said that, though, (Inter president Massimo) Moratti's team are still the big favourites for the title, even if they play terrible football, because they have the best squad."
No fun
Zeman, who was known for his attacking style of play, is disappointed that football has become a results-oriented business.
"Unfortunately in today's football the only thing that counts is the result and no-one thinks about entertaining the fans," he said.
"No-one cares if the fans come to the stadium or not, or somewhere else. Too many coaches see football as a job and not as fun."
