Sheffield United goalkeeper Justin Haber hopes his performances on loan are not going unnoticed at Bramall Lane.

Keeper happy to be playing regularly

Sheffield United goalkeeper Justin Haber hopes his performances on loan are not going unnoticed at Bramall Lane. Haber is currently on loan at United's sister club Ferencvaros in Hungary after being allowed to leave to Bramall Lane on a tempoary basis last month. The Malta international made his debut for Ferencvaros in the weekend draw with league leaders Fehervar and Haber put in a man-of-the-match performance to help his side to a 2-2 draw. Haber was happy with his debut showing and believes the move to Hungary has helped him develop as a player. "I was happy to play against Fehervar and I felt I did my job," Haber told skysports.com. "There was a lot of pressure as they are the league leaders, but I believe I had a good game.

Confidence

"It was good for my confidence and I needed the match practice. "Hopefully I can keep my place in the team for the game against big rivals Ujpest this weekend. "After that I have two important games for the national team against Angola in a friendly and then the World Cup qualifier with Portugal and I am looking forward to those two games." Haber's loan deal expires in December and he admits he is unsure if he will stay in Hungary or return to Bramall Lane. The 28-year-old insists he will be happy to go along with whatever the Blades decide is best for him. "The coaches of Sheffield United are keeping updated on me because of the close connections between both clubs," added Haber. "I think Kevin Blackwell has been surprised that I am in the first-team of Ferencvaros already and I believe they have been delighted with my progress. "I came here to develop my game as I was not having a chance to play at Sheffield United and the gaffer said I needed match practice. "My loan comes to end in December and whatever decision the club makes I will be happy to go along with it. "I miss Sheffield, but I am also happy here as it is my idea to be playing regular first-team football."
Impressed
Ferencvaros coach Bobby Davison has been impressed by Haber and believes he has the potential to go a long way in the game. "Justin has done very well for us and he stepped up to the plate last week and did extremely well against a very good team," Davison told skysports.com. "My goalkeeper coach speaks very highly of Justin and he has settled in really well at the club and he is a good person to have in the dressing room. "He has been at Sheffield United for nearly two years without really playing and coming out here has enabled to play competitive games. "It will benefit Justin in that it will give him experience and it will also benefit Sheffield United in the long run which is the aim of the move in the first place."
