Veteran striker Paul Furlong rolled back the years to stun high-flying Dagenham and maintain Barnet's impressive form at Underhill with a 2-0 win.
The 40-year-old opened the scoring for the Bees before John O'Flynn doubled their lead from the penalty spot after Yannick Bolasie had been felled in the area.
Bolasie had almost given Barnet the perfect start after 30 seconds when his quick work forced keeper Tony Roberts into a fine save.
But Barnet got their reward in the 20th minute, when Bolasie's low cross found the out-stretched foot of Furlong, who gratefully put the ball past Roberts from close range.
Dagenham's only attempt in the first half was Danny Green's free-kick from outside the box four minutes before the break, which was easily collected by keeper Jake Cole.
And the hosts wrapped up the points in first-half injury time, when O'Flynn effortlessly converted from the penalty spot.
Although Dagenham put together more of an attacking threat in the second half, they created precious few opportunities to pull back the deficit.
Will Antwi's header late on sailed over the bar while Peter Gain's hit the bar in the dying minutes.
