Queens Park Rangers striker Rowan Vine has urged his team-mates to continue their impressive away form this season as they face the trip to Swansea City this weekend.
The Hoops managed just three away wins during the whole of last season, but have already secured two victories on their travels this season.
They also grabbed an admirable 1-1 draw at Newcastle on Wednesday and the 27-year-old told
skysports.com that he is keen to extend their run of three games unbeaten on the road.
"We have been delighted with the results recently, especially the back-to-back away wins recently, which we have been trying to do for quite a while," he told
skysports.com.
"Picking up points on the road has been a struggle for us over the past couple of years, so that has been pleasing. Our home form has been a little disappointing, despite earning draws from a couple of games which we went behind in, but hopefully we will sort that out soon.
"Before the Barnsley game we hadn't been playing very well at home, but at the same time we weren't getting beaten that much either, so the roles have reversed a little as our home form was the reliable one whereas that is where we are struggling at the minute.
"However, I do feel the first-half performance against Barnsley blew away the Loftus Road cobwebs a little and now we can go from strength-to-strength at home again."
Ever since the Hoops were taken over by the billionaire trio of Flavio Briatore, Bernie Ecclestone and Lakshmi Mittal the expectation has risen, with the thought of top-tier football returning to Loftus Road the main desire.
The former Portsmouth striker insists that the pressure upon their shoulders has helped them learn from last season's disappointing mid-table finish.
"There is a lot of pressure when you play for a club like QPR because people expect us to be going places and performing well and finishing where we did last season wasn't good enough," he said.
"You always learn from your mistakes though and last season will be added experience for us, even if I did miss a huge chunk of that season. We are determined to improve on last season and aim for those top six places."
