Yeovil frustrate Oldham at Boundary Park
Oldham's bid for a fourth straight league victory was undone by wayward finishing as they played out a goalless draw with Yeovil.
The Latics wasted a hat-trick of clear chances as the visitors frustrated them at Boundary Park and the worst miss came after half an hour when Keigan Parker went clean through on to Pawel Abbott's through ball but dragged his shot off target from inside the box.
Ten minutes later Chris Taylor had an effort beaten away by keeper Alex McCarthy and could only lift the rebound over the bar.
Parker was guilty for a second time after the break as he controlled a pass eight-yards out and fired across the face of goal with just McCarthy to beat.
Yeovil offered little in attack apart from during the opening stages when Gavin Tomlin headed over and Ryan Mason drilled off target.
